PANDEMIC UNEMPLOYMENT PAYMENT - What You Must Do Now to Keep Your Payment
The Government most definitely appear to be moving out of emergency mode and into a more 'business-as-usual' mode in the past few weeks.
This is evidenced most explicitly by their increased recent compliance activity. What does this mean in simple terms? It means they have moved away from just getting money into people's hands (which was their primary objective when the Pandemic Unemployment Payment was announced on 16th March 2020) to actually checking if everyone who is claiming it should be claiming it!
